Ryan Lee BSc ACP
Ryan started his EMS career in 1998, after completing his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary, and has been an Advanced Care Paramedic since 2002. He has worked in both rural and urban EMS settings, starting with Guardian Ambulance in Innisfail, Banff EMS and then in 2004 was hired by the City of Calgary. In 2011, he was selected to be a flight paramedic for Calgary Metro. In 2017, he had a non-workplace injury that led him to EMS Research. While in EMS Research, he has been the project lead on the Calgary Zone Treat and Refer Low Risk Syncope study and the CanROC study. In 2009, he was invited to attend the first National EMS Research Agenda to provide a frontline perspective on EMS Research.
Ryan is a father of 3 young children. His wife also works as a PCP for AHS EMS.
