Jacob Hutton PCP
Jacob is a Primary Care Paramedic with BC Emergency Health Services and serves as a member of the Paramedic Research Committee with BC EHS. After completing undergraduate training in Neuroscience, Jacob become more intricately involved in governance and medical training for many of the provincial Search and Rescue groups in the province. After discovering a passion for helping harmonize practice with evidence in the pre-hospital setting, Jacob completed training as a PCP. When not working as a paramedic, Jacob spends a significant portion of the year travelling throughout the province delivering medical training to the search and rescue community. He is particularly interested in the role of analytics, technology and computing innovation in pre-hospital medicine and hopes to pursue further academic training blending these strategies with advancing care.
