Zach Fitzsimmons BSc PCP After completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Dalhousie, I began pursuing a career in Paramedicine. Following the completion of my PCP education, I worked for many years as a frontline provider, both in rural and urban settings. It was at this time that I began my involvement with pre-hospital research, taking on roles as a Research Assistant and becoming a PEP appraiser. I completed my Advanced Care Paramedic program in 2019 and over the years have transitioned from the field to a full-time educator and, more recently, into various healthcare leadership roles. Most importantly, I am the proud dad to two amazing sons (and one golden retriever), and husband to a fantastic wife.
